my friend wants to extend his skateboarding skills by moving away from the flat land riding that he can do and learn the tricks, yet he's having trouble with his ollie. he's been trying for months on end, but i notice he's doing the same thing over and over. refusing to listen to me when i tell him he should try a different technique, he insists that "this is how it's done". well, my skateboarding trick knowledge is pretty much nothing.

so i recorded him attempting an ollie and put it on youtube, also found here
