hey newgrounds! i'm the current owner of an iphone 2G (original iphone) unlocked to work on the Orange UK network, however, due to EDGE networking being (IMO) a pile of shit, and WiFi, is limited, a lot of functions for the original iphone are very.. limited.

I guess I propose a question, is an iphone 3G still worth buying? I know the 3GS is out, but of course, this means for a 3g pricefall. I doubt I'd use it on the Orange 3G network, as with the limited research i've conjured up, the price and restriction is ridiculous.

anyway yeah, opinions, anyone, or should i turn to an alternative phone?
